Frequently asked questions

Which brake controller suits my trailer?

Choosing the right electric brake controller depends on your trailer's braking system and configuration. Factors such as electric or hydraulic brakes, as well as single or dual axle setups, can affect which controller is suitable. Send us through some details about your trailer and we can help recommend the right unit.

Can you change my trailer socket to a 12-pin connection?

Yes. We can upgrade your existing trailer connection to a 12-pin socket and configure the wiring to suit your specific towing requirements.

Can an Anderson plug charge my caravan battery?

This will depend on your vehicle's charging system and the setup in your caravan. Many modern vehicles use smart alternators, which may require a DC-DC charger to properly charge an auxiliary battery while driving.

Send us through your vehicle and caravan details and we can recommend the right charging solution.

Can you work with my existing sway mitigation system?

Yes. We can work alongside existing electronic sway control systems and ensure your towing setup is configured to suit your vehicle and caravan requirements.

Do you need both the tow vehicle and trailer?

Having both available helps us assess and check the complete connection. Send the job details before booking so we can confirm what needs to be on site.
